Bathroom upstairs...where it all began

Here is the wallpaper and the my favorite shower curtain. The paper reminds me of clouds. Looks really good next to the carpet. Once I have these rooms decorated, I will update y'all.

Our new powder-room

Mike put the new light fixture up and all the other fixtures. They are sponged bronze. There is a new paper holder, towel holder, light switch cover, and a new toilet. I would like to put up a swag, but it can't be busy since the wall is. A nice brownish would do well. I also want to get a shelf for over the toilet to put the tp and a few towels on it. The pictures are up, just need one more. :-)

Our new kitchen

All that is left is to decorate. I have a village of about 10 houses that will go on top of the cabinets. The 'theme' is Americana. Lots of red, white, and blue and flags. The tile is finally done. The grout is blue and really brings it all together. The appliances (wall-oven, microwave, and stove top) are GE Profile.

Tornado in Flower Mound

This is NOT our house. Just a shot of one of the houses in Flower Mound that had a lot of damage from the tornado.

Kitchen Tile

The back splash tile is in...but it isn't finished. The guys didn't have the grout. Why would you show up to put up tile, if you don't have grout? (like Pink Floyd says...How can you have any pudding, if you don't eat your meat?)
At least this gives you an idea as to what it looks like so far. I'm not totally happy with it. I love the patterned tile, I'm just not keen on the large tiles. I dunno.

Powder Room

Here is the wall paper and border that is in the powder room. I love the border. The sayings are cute. It goes with the pictures I had in there before. One of them says "Bear bottoms welcome", with a bear sitting on the toilet. :-)
We still have to install the new light fixture and the other fixtures and put up the mirror and pictures.
