That's right, it is snow...in Texas!

Here are my footsteps on the back porch. As you can see there is about 2 inches and it still continued to snow. We ended up with about 3 inches. Denton, which is about 15 miles North of us, got NINE INCHES OF SNOW. Good Grief.

Notice the really blue water in the pool. I never saw it that blue before. The pump automatically runs when the temperature is below freezing, so as you can see it must have been on for awhile, since the pool is so crisp and clean.

The sidewalk to our back fence is totally covered and you can't see the little bushes in front of the air conditioners. The trees are white, but they also have white buds under the snow. I hope it doesn't kill them off. They look so pretty while they bloom.

For this shot, I am standing in our front yard under one of our big trees, so me and the camera are safe from the snow falling. Here is a shot of our neighborhood. I have seen it snow here 4 times now, but this is the most we have seen. Actually, it snowed on Tuesday, but it was only about an inch.

This is our back yard and you can see the snow on the table. And you can still see the snow falling. All of this snow can on Thursday, March 6th. It began as rain around 10 am. By 3 pm, the ground was covered and the roads were just a bunch of slush. Unfortunately, the rain earlier was starting to freeze under the slush.
As of today, Friday, the snow is completely gone. Texas definitely has some weird weather. :-)
